The Movie Juice

Tupac or 2Pac Shakur was a well known rapper during his life but also a very talented actor as well. In the movie Juice Tupac Shakur and Mike Epps teamed up to make a memorable black film about life in the inner city streets and about one young man’s dreams of making it big as a DJ as well as the friendship shared by the two and their two other friends. This movie has a direct message to tell about the struggles and issues that black people go through and the decisions that some kids make in regards to life choices. Tupac does a very convincing acting job in the movie as the troubled kid that turns to violence to solve his money issues. The movie juice was written and directed by cinematographer named Ernest Dickerson. It is a crime drama centering on the group of four friends and how they get involved in a robbery.

Tupac or 2Pac plays the role of Bishop in the movie and the part of Q is played by Omar Epps. The other two friends Raheem played by Khalil Kain and Steel played by Jermaine Hopkins complete the bond of the four friends who spend much of their time skipping school and getting into fights occasionally. Omar Epps’ character is a cool character who just wants to win a local DJ battle to become a DJ and who is a decent individual throughout the story. As the story progresses Bishop happens to see the movie White Heat and it inspires him to get a gun and after this Bishop heads a plan to rob a local corner store and to split all of the proceeds between the four friends. The robbery that they plan goes wrong and the friendship that they all once shared begins to deteriorate.
